[Intro]

Today’s topic is going to be a little different than what you think it’s going to be. One of my last episodes was the foundations of success. And I had shared with you that I’ve got this incredible artwork in our training room and in our offices. And there are canvases, they’re motivational, they’re focuses, and they just represent me, us, our brand, the company. And in my office, my personal office, I have one of these canvases and it’s the bookshelf for success. And I want to share with you why this resonates with me so deep.

It goes along with the foundation for success. When I shared with you the iceberg and the tree, and everything underneath that supports the growth and the foundation. These definitely aren’t books that you want to read. These are books that you want to apply to self.

So the first book on this bookshelf for success that’s on the artwork in my office is Patience. So many business owners, entrepreneurs, sales professionals lack this quality. This quality is vital in the pursuance of your dreams, in the pursuance of success. The reason why is because rarely, rarely do you ever encounter an overnight success. I’m not saying that there aren’t some, I’m just saying that rarely do they exist. What you never see is the 5 years, the 10 years, the 15-20, the 30, the 40 years of grit and determination and sacrifices and pain and potential bankruptcies and lost relationships. Patience is necessary.

See in a world today of instant gratification, in a world today of instant unrealistic expectations, it’s really important for you to know that you have a plan, you have belief in self, you’ve rid yourself of the limiting beliefs that chain you down, the itty-bitty shitty committee, the bully in the brain that’s constantly nagging at you and fighting you in your journey to success. You’ve rid yourself of all of that. Now, it’s about doing the do.
