Stacey: Jen and Stacy – welcome to the show.

Jen: Thank you.

Stacy: Thanks for having us.

Stacey: I am excited. You know, Jen, I met you a little over a year ago and your mindset – you’re just so solid, and then I got to know your beautiful wife just recently, and I completely understand how it is you have accomplished success, so let’s share with our listeners your journey. You didn’t wake up one day and just say, “I was born an entrepreneur and I’m going to do it,” right?

Jen: No. No, I didn’t realize it until I was about 9. *laughs*

Stacey: Oh you were a late bloomer. I think my first lemonade stand was when I was 4, and my dad bought me the materials, helped me build it, and then charged me for time and labor and materials. Then, when I borrowed the lemonade stuff from my mom, I had to pay her back for material costs. So my first summer I was in a loss. Then, they charged me interest, which I didn’t understand what that was. So now I’m like 6 years old and with my lemonade stand I realized that if I gave my neighbor friends 5 cents for every cup they sold, I could increase my leverage. So I got out of debt my second year.
