Sell Without Selling Podcast

Episode #107

Success Is a Reflection

On this solo episode, Stacey is looking inward with a conversation about how our struggles, fears, and even accomplishments are a direct reflection of how we see ourselves.

Key Takeaways:

  • Everything you want exists within you, and it depends entirely on what you’re willing to do right now.
  • Avoid being hypercritical.
  • Get to know yourself completely. Strengths and weaknesses.
  • You decide to invest in yourself when you decide you’re worth it.

“We’re incapable of seeing anything that didn’t exist within us.” -Stacey O’Byrne

So, have you ever noticed that when you see a photograph of yourself, a picture of yourself, that you’re so critical about it, that you don’t like it, right? You don’t like the way they look. You go through hundreds of pictures to find a few that you like. Have you ever realized that the reason why that is is because the way you see yourself on a daily basis is in a mirror. A mirror is a reverse image of you, and because it’s a reverse image of you, you never really have the opportunity to physically see yourself any other way than the way you are seeing yourself in the mirror, unless somebody takes a picture of you, hands you a photograph, and then you become hypercritical because it doesn’t look like the you that you see on the continual basis.
