My short answer is, ABSOLUTELY! You may have heard me mention that I believe we live in a world where anything is possible. And if we live in a world where anything is possible then that means we live in a world where everything is possible. So, that means, having it all is not only possible, it’s absolutely probable. That is, if we choose to do what we get to do, to have what we want to have.
It all starts with defining what it and all really are?
Is it financial freedom? Time freedom? Freedom of conflict? Health? All of the above or even more? Regardless of where you live in the world, and where you are in your life, you are probably surrounded by people who are full of limiting beliefs about money and having an abundance of wealth.
The biggest challenge in trying to shift this limiting mindset is a strong societal belief that we have to trade our time for money and work hard to earn money and be successful.
Most sales people, entrepreneurs and business owners wrongly believe that it’s impossible to become wealthy unless it’s handed to you, like an inheritance or a high-dollar education, even though over 60% of the Forbes 400 richest people were born in poverty and/or were high school or college dropouts.
Most people just can’t fathom success and wealth at that magnitude because they’ve always allowed other people to determine their value.
But the truth is, society has it all wrong. We were taught about money, wealth and success wrong.
What the 1% understand that most people don’t is… that it’s not the amount of time or sweat you get rewarded for or construction workers and laborers would be the richest in the world.
Rather, it’s about how much value you bring the people you serve.
Wealthy people are typically wealthy because they have figured out this one simple formula:
Reasons → Results → Activity → Productivity
The average sales person, business owners and entrepreneur put conscious focus, effort into their business. There’s nothing wrong with expending effort, but most business owners spend all of their effort on low-value things, often spending 8 – 12 hours a day, “spinning their wheels, being busy and driving themselves crazy with activity.”
They attract some level of success, but quickly hit a ceiling and plateau, running out of time and energy, not able to meet enough prospective clients or serve more clients than they have time for, or worse yet… not even knowing how to find new prospective clients or what to do when they did.
Unfortunately, this cycle of missed goals and unfulfilled expectations leads to burnout. Your freedom has been lost and the situation seems like a hopeless, endless struggle. Does this sound familiar? The bad news is this cycle becomes a self-fulling prophecy. The good news is, there’s hope… Shift really can happen.
All you have to do is move from Reasons to Results and you do this by shifting from activity to productivity and strategic energy.
