Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable.

It’s really important for you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. The biggest mistake that entrepreneurs, sales professionals, and business owners make is they get comfortable. It doesn’t matter how uncomfortable their comfortable is. They stay there. 

We call this the gray zone. 

The gray zone is what you know you know, no matter how much it doesn’t work, no matter how much it’s not serving you, it’s the area that you know. And when you know that area, that’s where you get stuck. That’s where you get stagnant, that’s where you continue to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. 

Success lies in the uncomfortable. Turn around and allow yourself to do something new on a continual basis. The more it makes you scared, the more it makes you nauseous, the more it makes those butterflies go crazy in your stomach, you know you’re on the right path.

I know every time I am getting ready to do something and I get that feeling in my gut, my palms start to sweat, my heart starts beating really hard, I know I am on the right track.

So it’s important to get really comfortable being uncomfortable because that is where success is. The gray zone, it’s what we all know. And that’s why we stay there. But think about it, if you stay there you’re always going to get the same results. Allow yourself to step out of it. Then, you will finally be on the path to what it is that you’ve always wanted, desired, and dreamed of.   

Surround Yourself with Coaches and Mentors.

You’ll never find a successful person who hasn’t been coached to success. Coaches see blind spots. Coaches are mirrors. When you surround yourself with people that understand where it is you want to go and they understand where it is that you’re starting, they can help you to get out of your own way! They can help you get on your way, so you can finally have your way!

When we are part of the problem, there is no way we can be part of the solution. The only way that we can have what it is that we want is to surround ourselves with people who have done it and people who can call us out on what it is that we’re not doing. 

Having a coach is ALWAYS going to be worth it, but it’s not always going to be easy. Coaches are our mirrors. They hold up reality for us and we don’t always want to see what it is they show us.

I hear people say all the time, “I can’t afford a coach.” The reality is, you can’t afford to not have a coach. Figure out a way. Get clear on where your money is going. You’re either spending your money or investing your money. Coaching is an investment in yourself. 

Understand Failure Offers Room to Thrive.

Get excited about failing. Embrace a new and different relationship with failure.  Understand that failing is nothing more than feedback. Failing is good. 

Fail fast. Fail often. And learn from your failures so you can glean the lesson from them. If we can see it, we can learn from it. If we can learn from it, we can fix it. If you can fix it, you can move on!

Embrace yourself and love yourself through failure. Grab those learning. Then, move on and thrive.

Surround Yourself with People Who Aspire to be Inspired. 

Surround yourself with people who inspire you. Birds of a feather flock together. Surround yourself with people who do things that you want to do, that have things you want to have, and that have created the success that you want to create. Aspire to be inspired. Inspire to aspire.

Practice Self Care.

I can not emphasize this more! If you’re not well, you can’t sell. If you can’t take care of yourself, how can you ever take care of your clients or customers? I’m not just talking about eating well and meditating. I’m talking about taking care of yourself in every single area of your life.
